The Big Boar Lodge Experience

Located in scenic upstate New York, Big Boar Lodge offers a unique year-round hunting experience.  We have a variety of animals including deer, sheep, goats, big wild boar, and other exotic beasts.  Big Boar Lodge caters to hunters of all types and allows rifles, muzzleloaders, shotguns, and bows.

At Big Boar Lodge, we aim to make your hunting experience as exciting as possible.  Our expert hunting guides will escort you around our 250 acre preserve.  Be sure to bring your camera or video equipment to record the fun!  The Lodge offers comfortable accommodations for your hunting party.  Begin your day with a hearty meal and return to the Lodge in the evening to celebrate your success.  Check out The Lodge.

There are many places to hunt.  Big Boar Lodge offers a challenging hunting experience in the beautiful upstate New York forest.  We also offer the following advantages:

• Safety is our first priority.  No one will hunt under the influence of alcohol.  Blaze orange vest and or hat are mandatory.
• Our Boars are 200 lbs. or larger.
• Our hunting guides our experienced and cater to your enjoyment.
• We serve only one hunting party or group at a time.  You get our undivided attention.
• Sight-in ranges are required before any hunt.
• Hunters may use any big game rifle, muzzleloader, shotgun with slugs, or bow.
• The Lodge offers clean comfortable lodging for your hunting party.
• We provide a hearty all-you-can-eat lunch for all hunters.
• Hunting is allowed year-round and no hunting license is required.  Hunting on Sunday is also permissible.
• There are no limits to the number of animals you take, but you must take all you shoot.
• Our Lodge and preserve are equipped for the physically challenged hunters.

Big Boar Lodge offers an overwhelming variety of animals.  If you don't see the animal you are looking for on our list, please contact us and inquire about availability.  Our property is generally stocked with the following:

• Russian Wild Boar

• Spanish, Angora, & Ibex Goats

• Merino, Corsican, Mouflon, and Texas Dall Rams (red or white)

• Black Hawaiian

• Aoudad (African Sheep)

• Whitetail, European Fallow, Indian Axis & 4 varieties of Japanese Sika Deer

• Rocky Mountain Elk

• European Red Stag

• Buffalo

Services

To insure a safe and exciting hunting experience, Big Boar Lodge offers a number of amenities and services.

• Taxidermy - We can prepare your trophy to take back to your favorite taxidermist, or we can recommend a taxidermist in your area that will take care of your trophy for you.
• Scoring - We can have your trophy officially scored in the record book of exotics and Safari Club International (SCI).
• Butchering - We have a full butcher shop with coolers and freezers.
• Airport Service - If you need to fly to get here, an airport shuttle is available to pick you up.  Contact us for additional details.
